We invite tenders to develop and manage a pilot in mentoring secondary phase science and mathematics initial teacher training (ITT) trainees and early career teachers in three government office (GO) regions.
The pilot mentoring programme aims to increase the number of science and maths ITT trainees entering teaching, and improve the retention and effectiveness of secondary school specialist teachers in these subjects.
Successful bidders will be awarded a contract from December 2008 to July 2011.
